Geordie lives in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Since 2023, Geordie’s photographs have been displayed in dozens of art shows in Newburyport, Amesbury, and Danvers, winning a number of awards. He is a Member Artist of the Newburyport Arts Association and the NAA Photography Interest Group.

Geordie’s photography “defies style or genre” according to a fellow photographer. The compositions are eclectic and usually unplanned and spontaneous. The images range from nature to streetscapes to people, close-ups and wide shots, photojournalistic visual storytelling and fine art photography, vibrant color and classic black-and-white. Many of the pictures are of the greater Newburyport region, but also from Boston, New York, Alabama, France, England, Italy, Newfoundland, Japan, and other places.

By day, Geordie works as the Senior Project Manager for the City of Newburyport, where he has managed dozens of community improvement projects since 2001 (e.g., the Clipper City Rail Trail; new public buildings; park renovations; land conservation; transportation enhancements; public sculpture and murals; and historic interpretive signage.
